Amber is a graduate from the University of the Cumberlands, obtaining a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her counseling goal is to make a difference in the lives of others, helping them become the best version of themselves.  She values creating a safe place to explore emotions, behaviors, and events of one’s life, through an emotion-focused therapeutic approach.  She wishes to help individuals improve their quality of life by teaching them effective ways to deal with stress, as well as ways to bring the mind, body and soul into balance. She believes in the power of mindfulness and being present in the moment.  She is also a university professor and has a passion for psychoeducation, which is incorporated into her counseling sessions.
