Meet James Fortune, MA, LPC (They/Them)

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I believe therapy works best when there is a genuine sense of trust, acceptance, and collaboration. My aim is to offer a space where you can be open about your experiences, feel understood without judgment, and explore what you want for your life.

My clinical interests include ADHD, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, as well as supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also enjoy working with young adults as they navigate new stages of life, relationships, and identity. Supporting individuals through the emotional complexities of infertility is another area of particular passion

A humanistic, relationship-centered approach serves as the foundation of my approach with clients. Therapy is shaped around who you are, what you have experienced, and what you hope to accomplish. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing are among the evidence-based approaches incorporated into treatment, along with an interest in mind-body approaches and polyvagal theory. Together, these tools can help you foster greater self-understanding, strengthen coping skills, and support lasting change.

Accepts clients ages 18 and older.
