Meet Jaime Snow, MA, LPC (She/Her)

I serve a dual role at Lyon Counseling Center as both the Compliance & Credentialing Manager and a Licensed Professional Counselor. In my leadership role, I oversee the insurance credentialing and compliance process while providing peer consultation and clinical support to our team of therapists. I am committed to ensuring that every clinician has the guidance, resources, and administrative support needed to provide exceptional care to their clients.

In my day-to-day role, I assist therapists throughout the credentialing process, collaborate with insurance companies to facilitate timely credentialing and maintain compliance, provide on-demand peer consultations, and support the center’s daily clinical and operational needs. My combination of clinical experience and administrative leadership helps create a strong foundation for both our therapists and the clients we serve.

As a fully licensed professional counselor, I have worked in both community mental health agencies and private practice settings. I earned my master’s degree from Oakland University in 2012 and have worked in the mental health field for more than 14 years. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to upholding the ethical and professional standards established by the Michigan Board of Licensed Professional Counselors.

I believe counseling is a collaborative process in which we work together to identify, understand, and address the concerns that bring you to therapy. My approach is grounded in developing a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and collaboration. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

I believe every individual possesses unique strengths and the capacity for growth. My passion is helping clients increase self-awareness, build resilience, strengthen healthy coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I use an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and experiences.

I provide counseling services for children, adolescents, and adults and have experience treating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety disorders, ADHD, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, grief and loss, women’s issues, life transitions, and stress management. My goal is to help clients navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence, improve their overall well-being, and develop the tools needed to thrive both now and in the future.
