Karen comes to this work after twenty years of working in community-based
nonprofits. Looking to do more for people on a more personal level, She took a leap
of faith and headed back to graduate school and in effect changed the trajectory of
her career. Since graduating with her master’s in counseling in 2009, She has
the opportunity to work as a Wayne County Baby Court Therapist, Home based
Infant Mental Health Therapist, Group facilitator, Reflective Supervisor and
Consultant. Recently, she was honored to be asked to contribute a chapter in the Zero
to Three case study manual, published this year. She brings a wealth of kindness, compassion, knowledge and experience to her sessions. She has worked with individuals and families across the lifespan in a multitude of settings.
