Kate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10+ years experience working with individuals and groups in a variety of fields including: school social work, developmental disabilities, families, mental health and substance use. Kate has had the unique experience of spending four years in Petersburg, Alaska in which she provided community mental health services and crisis intervention to a rural population. Kate trusts in a holistic, strengths-based, integrative approach to treatment. Kate believes that all individuals possess the inner-strength and resilience to navigate life’s obstacles. The therapeutic process can be beneficial in identifying and exploring that inner-strength and receiving support, insight and new tools to implement during those times when we don’t always feel so strong. Kate believes in the significance of evaluating all areas of an individual’s life in order to effectively assess needs and develop treatment strategies to work towards meeting client’s goals.
