Meet Lauren Zylik, LLP (She/Her)

Lauren is a clinician who works with adolescents, young adults, and adults, with a particular focus on supporting young adults and families navigating the challenges of connection, identity, and life transitions. She is passionate about helping both individuals and parents better understand themselves and one another.

Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with psychodynamic insight, while also incorporating elements of Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. She places a strong emphasis on identifying patterns, both internal and interpersonal, that may be contributing to distress, and works collaboratively with clients to create meaningful and sustainable change.

Lauren is especially interested in helping clients reconnect with their authentic selves, quiet the noise of external expectations, and develop a deeper sense of clarity and self-trust. She supports clients in exploring relationship dynamics, improving communication, and building healthier, more fulfilling connections with others. When working with adolescents and their parents, she aims to strengthen understanding, rebuild trust, and foster more connected family relationships.

She strives to create a therapeutic space that is both grounded and genuine—where clients feel safe to explore, challenged to grow, and supported in becoming more aligned with who they truly are.

Accepts client between the ages 12-89.
