Meet Meagan Shepherd, LPC

Meagan’s goal in therapy is to partner with her clients to foster a relationship based on trust and mutual respect that acts as a container for healing, resilience, and growth. It is her passion to empower others to better understand themselves and the world around them so they can show up more fully in their lives. She does this collaboratively with her clients by exploring challenges and strengths, uncovering blindspots, and developing new strategies for leading a happier and healthier life.

Her approach is informed by a variety of modalities including, The Narrative Enneagram, Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic Theory, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy. She integrates these approaches to craft a treatment plan specific to each client and their unique needs.

While she specializes in working with women and children, Meagan works with individuals and families across the lifespan and has many years of experience working with children, adults, and families in schools and community settings.
